As cloud computing continues to expand and revolutionize business, the need to consider security around cloud applications is evermore paramount. Passwords are considered weakest link in security in Cloud Infrastructure. So replacing passwords with strong Two Factor Authentication will give peace of mind to cloud users that their data is secure and only they have access to the same.
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an XML-based standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between security domains, that is, between an identity provider (such as IDAS) and a service provider (such as Salesforce).
When a user logs into a cloud app, they are redirected to ArrayShield IDAS two factor authentication system where they must authenticate. If the authentication is successful, the user is redirected to their Cloud app where access is granted.
Some popular cloud applications that supports IDAS two factor authentication integration:
- Google Apps
- Office 365
- Success Factors
ArrayShield’s 2FA technology is simple to use and provides high level of security
“ArrayShield is a unique 2FA solution which gives additional security over the two factor authentication mechanisms currently available.”
