ArrayShield invited to speak at NASSCOM-DSCI Information Security Summit 2011

The Prestigious Annual Information Security Summit organized by NASSCOM-DSCI was held in Delhi on 6th, 7th December 2011. This Summit provides a pioneering platform for establishing the significance of security within national and organizational ecosystem where the providers of solutions, users of solutions, thought-leaders and regulators come together to contribute to future of data security.

It was such a great honour for Array Shield to have its Co-founder and CEO Mr. Pavan Thatha invited as a panelist alongside eminent personalities like Mr. Sanjay Bahl, Chief Security Officer at Microsoft & Mr. Ibrahim Ahmad, Group Director at DataQuest among others to deliberate on topic “Security – How Big is the Opportunity?”. The panel highlighted the growing security awareness in Indian Organizations and has felt that the opportunity in Indian market is going to grow tremendously in coming years. The new wave of innovations from Indian Security vendors are gaining acceptance at global level which will spur more innovations from Indian Security Companies.

In closing remarks of the summit, Dr. Kamlesh Bajaj, CEO, DSCI said, “This year, the Summit focused on highlighting various approaches for dealing with cyber security and challenges in mobile and cloud computing. Through discussion on these topics, the Summit aims to provide awareness on new challenges, threats and vulnerabilities; strategic direction and practical guidance; introduction to new approaches & practices.”
